At Legacy, we offer a range of projects for all young people to get involved in, enabling you to discover and do new things. We believe in continuous development so you can grow and be the best version of yourself.
We’re looking for the voices of our members in the form of Legacy Ambassadors. Join us for monthly meetings to discuss hot topics and events happening throughout the Youth Zone. Ambassadors get to help in key decision making as well as representing the values of Legacy Youth Zone amongst their peers.
We provide six weeks training for young people aged 14+ to learn about all aspects of working at Legacy Youth Zone. Once training has been completed, you gain work experience in either youth work during Junior and Holiday Club sessions, join the Media Squad or Fundraising Squad.
Volunteer hours are formally counted, and it’s great for your CV!
Join our Media Squad and take part in a five week training course to gain necessary media experience. We're looking for senior members aged 14+ to support us in creating content for Legacy whether on social media, creating and editing videos, writing news stories, taking photos or vlogging. If you're interested in creating content for young people, by young people then this course is for you!
We have officially launched a brand new Youth Mentoring Programme in partnership with the UFC. It’s a Mixed Martial Arts programme designed to teach core skills and techniques and focus on core strength and discipline.
Legacy members will have the opportunity to take part in the programme and receive tips and advice from trained coaches and UFC fighters who will check in from time to time.
