The Youth Engagement Lead (Internship) is responsible for helping develop, implement, and overseeing programmes and initiatives that engage young people at Legacy Youth Zone including a youth voice forum. This role aims to create a safe, inclusive, and vibrant environment where young people can thrive, develop skills, and actively participate in their community. This role will support the board of trustees hear from young people directly and help cultivate relationships between the trustees, our core operations and young people.
Contracted Hours Available:
40 hours per week – 5 sessions Tuesday to Saturday plus office time to plan events, organise themes, help deliver the youth voice forum and participation events, trips etc.
This role is a 1 Year Fixed Term Contract.
Salary:
Full time (40 hours) – £27,352 based on London Living Wage (April 2025 rates to be confirmed)
Location: Legacy Youth Zone, Croydon
Due to candidate required to work during Senior sessions (aged 13-19), the candidate must be aged 21 or over.
