Comic-Con weekend is a three-day extravaganza jammed-packed with events, panels, celebrity appearances and many other things to do. Whether you are a fan of anime or fancy finding out more about the latest Marvel film, there will be something for you. We travelled from West Croydon to the Excel Centre in around 40 minutes. We used the Elizabeth Line; it was quick and fast, transforming the MCM London Comic Con experience forever.
Elizabeth line was released to the public on 24th May 2022 and cost around £14.8bn but extended to £18.8bn to construct. The train can carry up to 1,500 passengers, up to 200m long.
Throughout the day, many people cosplayed as their favourite characters like Kratos from God of War, Scooby doo and friends, and many more. Still, my favourite was the three Daleks from Doctor Who with built-in audio that says “exterminate.”
I also enjoyed the wide variety of characters, and the amount of effort people put into the costumes was outstanding.
Overall, the day was amazing. I would recommend it to anyone considering going or even people who have never considered going, as there’s guaranteed to be something you’ll like and enjoy. However, the food was quite pricey for what it was, Defiantly recommend eating beforehand due to the long food queues. Written by Lucas, a Senior member
