Legacy Youth Zone in Croydon is thrilled to announce that, as of Friday, 13th October, it has been chosen as the Captains’ Charity for the 2023/24 season at Croham Hurst Golf Club. This generous decision has been made by Ian Harris, the incoming men’s captain, and Sue Taylor the incoming women’s captain, who were deeply inspired during their recent visit to Legacy Youth Zone.

Ian and Sue were captivated by the Youth Zone’s vision for young people in Croydon and the incredible support and facilities available for the borough’s young people. Their visit left a profound impact, compelling them to make Legacy Youth Zone their charity of choice.

In the coming year, Croham Hurst Golf Club will host a series of events and activities to raise funds for Legacy Youth Zone, with the goal of reaching an impressive target of £10,000. Golf club members will have the opportunity to contribute to this noble cause through this dedicated Just Giving page established for the year.

Speaking on the collaboration, Gavin Evans Legacy Youth Zone’s CEO expressed his happiness, stating, “We are delighted to be chosen by Ian and Sue as their Captains’ Charity and look forward to forging a strong partnership with them and the broader membership at Croham Hurst Golf Club, all for the betterment of the young people of Croydon.”

The partnership between Legacy Youth Zone and Croham Hurst Golf Club promises to make a significant impact on the lives of young individuals in Croydon, providing them with valuable opportunities and support for a brighter future.
